Ice Cream Roxy
Isn't he just a darling? You may not be able to see it, but his glasses are glazed to look like glass.
I painted him in watercolors/watercolor pencils and watercolor pens, with some colored pencil and gel pen accents.
He is so relaxed and peaceful in the sun. And his ice cream cone isn't even melting. :)

Original art pieces
Well I haven't gotten much done in stamping lately, so I thought I would share some very old works of mine from about 25 years ago when I first was a learning artist.
Water coloring was my second favorite medium next to colored pencils, but I also like to mix the two. This piece is all water colored though.
This piece was based in water color and then the fish was colored in colored pencils. I adore working with colored pencils.
Probably my least favorite to work with, but I gave it a try.... Oils.
Next to oils is acrylics, which if I am working on wood, is the best medium to work with, because you can use it in layers like water colors, but it is opaque and it dries fast.

OAK Fairy
She was so much fun to color up.
I used distress inks, Watercolor pencils, Polychromo's pencils and chalks.
I just had to make another version of this stamp.
I adore how much detail there is in this design.
I am not sure which color I like the best.
She actually has a little lady bug on her arm.
So I added a big lady bug to her card.

Honey's Markers
This little Lady Rocks! She is Honey's Markers and is available in rubber stamps at Sweet Pea Stamps.
She is mostly alcohols markers and a tiny bit of colored pencil and chalk. I had fun creating her pants with lots of additional wrinkles. :)
