Just for fun

One of those cards that I took weeks to decide on and all of the pieces fell into place last night when I made the little bears.
They are coated in 3D lacquer, as I love how that stuff makes an image pop!

The flowers were a lot of fun to color too.

The Master

Well I have decided to restart The Rubber Attic. So I am working on some new digital designs that will be available eventually in polymer stamps and digital.
This is a lot of fun to learn how to do on my iPad.
I finished this wolf last night, what do you think? Would you like to color him?

House Mouse Group exchange and RAK

We have alot of MOUSIE fun in the House Mouse group. This week we had to exchange a card that was created like cards would be, about 10 years ago. That meant not using alot of things that we have today like the Cuttlebug, stress inks and more.
This presented a challenge for me a bit, as my images were all colored ahead, and using some bits of Copic Markers.  So like the innocent sneaky mousie that I am, I snuck that in. hehe...........
The members of this group are all so special to me. I want to begin sending some RAKS, so I started with Naughty Mouse, Mary Anne.  She got the above collage card that has so many items in it, that represent her, and her life. I loved doing it.

It's Tuesday, but What's on my Desk Wednesday

I am very busy on Wednesday, so you got me on Tuesday. This little bear was an experiment that I just LOVE so much. I used Copics as a base, then colored him with colored pencils, then used Copics to blend him. Well I found out that this will ruin your Copics, so don't us Copics to blend, but you can use Alcohol on a stump or Q-tip. You can also us Gamsol.
All it did was soften the colors so they blended in well.
I liked using the Copic's under the pencils because there was no white showing through.  I am so happy about how he turned out. I wanted to cuddle him. He looks life like.
I make real teddy bears from my own designs and patterns, so Teddies have such a special place in my heart.
This teddy bear was on ebay for 10.00 and it had "make an offer" on it. I offered 5 and thought he would come back with a counter offer, but he didn't. He took my 5 and I am so happy to own him. He is a piece of art all by himself as a stamp. He is a very large PSX stamp.  I should give him a name. What do you think?
I am also posting photo's of some of my hand made teddies.

Happy Copic/Colored Pencil Tuesday, oops Wednesday. Oh well, so it is  really Tuesday, but we can pretend. :)

What's On My Desk Wednesday

Ok, so it is Thursday, but I just joined the "What's On My Desk Wednesday" group and I love the idea. So I will show you what I did on Tuesday, hehe.....
I am drawing again. So excited to see where I end up this time. I am not going to go back into the rubber business as I was with the Rubber Attic. I don't like pressing rubber and making stamps.
However I am considering having someone else make rubber for me. Others have suggested that I sell them as Digi stamps. I don't have a forum for selling those, but I could sell the UM's on Ebay.  I welcome all suggestions here. Do Digi stamps sell well?  Do tell me how you all feel. Thanks.
Introducing "Moonlit Deer". It is a bit hard to see the art with my water mark, but just put your imagination to work, lol.

Oh yes, My Desk, lol. Next time I will take photo when I actually am working on it.   Thanks, Terry

Learning and loving my PAZZLES!

Learning, Learning, Learning.........and having so much fun.  This card is put together from pieces of my learning curves. The poinsettia was cut with my Pazzles, but it was just cut to see how it would go, in white card stock. I decided to put the puzzle together to see if I even liked it and well last night I was up in the night again, so I decided to give it some old fashioned color.
Well then of course, I had to use it. So I created the stamped paper that is behind it for a learning curve too, and put the mouse that has been sitting in the coloring box on it.
I was on a blog last night that used cloth for bows and thought that was such a neat idea. I have lots of cloth, so I went for it. I put everything together and added some brown pigment ink to the edges. WOWIE, I love the old fashioned effect.
This is going to my mom and dad for Christmas. SHHHHHHHH.....don't tell them. :)

Did you say Decorate the tree?

Of course!!  I am having so much fun with my mice. Also these ornament shapes were cut out with my Pazzles.
Lots to learn still, but just a good thing to relax to.
I created these ornaments for my tree. This year I have this very tiny tree, so they look huge on it, but kind of fun too. :)

A Blast from the Past!!

A blast from the past!!!  I was looking for something that my son wanted this week. I came across a whole bunch of my past work from over five years ago. It was so much fun to go through it all.
I took photo's of some of them to share. They are in my albums:

I used alot of chalk work back in those days and I really love the look. I am using alcohol pens now, but I will have to do some of this chalk work again as it is beautiful.
I also colored on my stamps with my Tombows, but most of those are dried up now. :(  Maybe I will have to look for a few basic colors to do this again. It really inspired me to find these.
I just LOVE stamping!!!!

My favorite time of year is here!

I think I am finally getting back in the grove of making cards again, after my long 5 plus year vacation from rubber stamps.
So much has changed in five years and there are many things that I have, had to learn about, to catch up. I think I am learning fast and my budget is feeling it. lol
This card was colored with Copic markers, other alcohol pens, and glitter gel pens.
The stamps are from House Mouse, StampinUp(snowman), Stampendous (the background holly). The leaf is from StampCraft.

I used my Cuttlebug with three different dies to create the square with the snowman, the hearts behind him and the piece with the words on it.
With added touches of a button and some ribbons, it came to life.

I have been having alot of fun coloring fall leaves, so I just had to put some in. I think they mix in with winter because they hang around on the ground until spring.:)
